Drug pipeline expansion, dental diagnostics sale, media distribution acquisition.


Specialty drug manufacturer JHP Pharmaceuticals LLC, in Parsippany, announced Monday it has been acquired by an affiliate of New York-based growth investment firm Warburg Pincus for $195 million in cash to expand its development pipeline.


Diagnostic information services provider Quest Diagnostics, in Madison, announced Monday it has sold its Brentwood, Tenn.-based periodontal testing arm to clinical laboratory materials supplier Access Genetics LLC, in Eden Prairie, Minn., to refocus its resources on its core business services for physicians and hospitals. Terms were not disclosed.


The newsstand distributor subsidiary of AMREP Corp., in Princeton, today announced it has acquired certain assets of marketing company FulCircle Inc., in Denver, to expand its media services business with new call center, product fulfillment and direct mail services. Terms were not disclosed.
