Vitamin acquisition, college payment expansion, job applicant screening partnership.


Nutritional supplement retailer Vitamin Shoppe Inc., in North Bergen, announced Monday it has agreed to acquire Super Supplements Inc., in Seattle, Wash., for approximately $50 million to expand its retail presence in the Northwest by 31 stores.


Heartland Payment Systems, in Princeton, announced Monday it has acquired higher education payment solutions provider ECSI Corp., in Pittsburgh, to expand its student loan payment processing and tuition payment plan services to 1,800 colleges and universities nationwide. Terms were not disclosed.

Talent acquisition software provider iCIMS Inc., in Matawan, announced Monday it has formed a partnership with online reference-checking solutions company SkillSurvey Inc., in Wayne, Pa., to allow its customers to leverage both solutions to improve their screening of job applicants.
