Mobile computing acquisition, wealth management merger, testing services agreement.


Honeywell International Inc., in Morris Township, today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire mobile computing provider Intermec, in Everett, Wash., for approximately $600 million.

Financial planning services firm Brinton Eaton, in Madison, today announced it has been acquired by wealth management firm Mariner Wealth Advisors, in Leawood, Kan., to expand their wealth advisory team. Terms were not disclosed.

Technical consulting firm P3 Communications Inc., in Morristown, announced Friday it has entered into an agreement with wireless technology developer Qualcomm Technologies Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of San Diego-based Qualcomm Inc., to offer testing services and technical support to device manufacturers using their device validation services.

Florida-based child care provider Children of America Educational Childcare & Academy today announced it has opened a 10,078-square-foot school in Northvale to expand into northern New Jersey.


The Edison-based sales and distribution arm of power electronics supplier Fuji Electric Co. Ltd. today announced it will establish a corporate office in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Jan. 1 to increase its business activities throughout Latin America.
