Mall sale, food chemical acquisition self-storage investment.

North

Real estate investment trust Vornado Realty Trust, in Paramus, announced Friday its partial affiliate has completed the sale of Kings Plaza Mall, in Brooklyn, N.Y., for $751 million to Santa Monica, Calif.-based shopping center operator Macerich Co. as part of an effort to reduce its mall business.

South

Chemical and plastics producer PMC Group, in Mount Laurel, announced Friday it has acquired the food production product line of chemical giant BASF to expand its France-based specialty anti-foaming agent subsidiary, PMC Ouvrie. Terms were not disclosed.

The Philadelphia office of commercial real estate investment firm Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services announced Friday it has sold a 36,400-square-foot self-storage property in Carneys Point for $1.7 million.
