Car rental company Hertz Global Holdings Inc., in Park Ridge, today announced it has completed its acquisition of Tulsa-based Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. for approximately $2.5 billion in cash after gaining approval from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission last week.

Mobile payment applications provider Charge Anywhere LLC, in South Plainfield, announced Monday it has formed a partnership with Colombia-based payment processor Redeban Multicolor S.A. to deploy its mobile payment platform that will allow small and midsized businesses in Colombia to accept electronic transactions via smartphones.
