Digital publishing agreement, manufacturing expansion, video services acquisition.


Educational publishing company John Wiley & Sons Inc., in Hoboken, today announced it has agreed to acquire online learning services provider Deltak LLC, in Chicago, Ill., for $220 million to expand its digital learning offerings.

Germany-based precious metals manufacturer Heraeus Holding announced Monday it will expand its Newark facility by 3,200 square feet and increase its staff by 24 employees by the end of the year to meet increased consumer demand for its products in the United States.


Cloud-based video services supplier Glowpoint Inc., in the Murray Hill section of New Providence, announced Monday it has acquired videoconferencing services provider Affinity VideoNet, in Denver, to expand its services suite. Terms were not disclosed.
