Natural gas agreement, pharma acquisition, outpatient care expansion.


Honeywell International Inc., in Morris Township, today announced its Illinois-based hydrogen division has signed an agreement to acquire a 70 percent stake in natural gas processing technology provider Thomas Russell Co., in Tulsa, Okla., for $525 million to expand in the natural gas market.

Par Pharmaceutical Cos. Inc., in Woodcliff Lakes, announced Friday it has been acquired by affiliates of private investment firm TPG, in Fort Worth, Texas, to boost the firm’s generics pipeline.

Hackensack University Medical Center announced Friday it has entered into a joint venture partnership with community physicians and United Surgical Partners International to acquire and operate two ambulatory surgery centers in Bergen County to expand its outpatient care system.


Medical technology developer ConvaTec Inc., in the Skillman section of Montgomery, announced Friday it has acquired Oklahoma City-based urologic medical device supplier 180 Medical Holdings Inc. to expand its home-delivery care capacity. Terms were not disclosed.
