You may have noticed a familiar byline in today's paper. Yes, Beth Fitzgerald is back at NJBIZ.

Beth returned last week. Her latest story in our print edition looks at the insurance industry landscape in New Jersey as it relates to the new exchanges coming in 2014. Beth will be covering insurance—including implementation of the Affordable Care Act—banking, finance, law and accounting. She can be reached at (732) 246-5727 or beth@njbiz.com.

Beth had been at NJBIZ for three years, but left last October to work for another media outlet. We were sad to see her go.

And now the entire newsroom is excited and ecstatic to have her back. Beth is the type of journalist—and, more importantly, person—who literally inspired a party upon her return.

A source emailed me last week to verify that Beth had returned. He included a "Wow!" and asked, "How many straight weeks did you have to go to church to make that happen?"

Zero. But I would have gone daily if I had thought that might work.
