The NJBIZ Power lists always received the highest first-day web hits on njbiz.com for a nonbreaking news item. Until yesterday.

The “Burn the Boats” blog by Managing Editor Joe St. Arney burned up our website with yesterday’s post, recording one of the highest hit counts we have received in a day. The post was inaccessible at a few times because, it seems, the traffic to it was so high (also it included two links to videos so that was probably a factor).

If you’re not reading Joe’s blog, you’re missing out. It’s smart, topical, on point, witty and sarcastic…oh so sarcastic. All the same qualities you see in our editorials and Winners/Losers column, two features that Joe writes. And those same qualities are what makes working with Joe so much fun.
