Deals and Moves: Feb. 16

Joint real estate acquisition, health network, shipping publication partnership.

Real estate investment firms Woodmont Industrial Partners, an affiliate of Chatham-based Woodmont Properties, and AEW Capital Management jointly acquired Tuesday the I-78 Logistics Center, in Clinton. The investment is part of the firms' venture to gain $250 million in assets by acquiring industrial properties in Eastern U.S. seaport and inland port markets.


Health plan providers Highmark Inc., Independence Blue Cross, and Newark-based Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey announced Tuesday a partnership with health IT provider Lumeris Corp. to acquire NaviNet, a communication network for physicians, hospitals and health insurers. Terms were not disclosed.

Shipping services provider ICAP Shipping on Wednesday announced a partnership with The Journal of Commerce, a weekly maritime magazine published by a subsidiary of Newark-based UBM PLC, to publish a joint market report including trade data covering major U.S. ports.

Sagefrog Marketing Group LLC, a marketing, public relations, and advertising agency, opened its second office, in Princeton, on Tuesday.
