New Jersey's largest solar panel installer today marked the opening of its new Wall Township facility, where it moved to accommodate a work force that has nearly quadrupled in four years.
Trinity Solar held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Allenwood Road building in the Monmouth County township to replace its Freehold facility, which was unable to hold Trinity's more than 400 employees.
The firm, a designer and installer of solar electric systems, is the largest solar employer in New Jersey, according to a news release from the office of Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, who attended the ceremony. The firm has led New Jersey for the past eight years in deployments of solar electric systems for homes and businesses.
Trinity was co-founded in 2004 by Tom Pollock, then CEO of Freehold's Trinity Heating and Air Inc. The firm began with 26 employees, Pollack said last month.
