T-Mobile USA announced Thursday that it will unveil its sponsorship of the Prudential Center's Digital Zone at a New Jersey Devils game tonight. The pavilion will showcase T-Mobile device demos, featuring BlackBerry smartphones and a number of applications created for NHL fans. Terms were not disclosed.

Telcordia Advanced Technology Solutions' business unit announced Wednesday it has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Piscataway-based Telcordia Technologies Inc., doing business under its new name Applied Communication Sciences, formally separating the former R&D unit from Telcordia to mitigate any government concerns arising from the recent acquisition of Telcordia by Ericsson.

MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co., in Des Moines, Iowa, has completed its acquisition of a 49 percent interest in the Agua Caliente solar project from Princeton's NRG Energy. The first 30-megawatt phase of Agua Caliente is expected to begin commercial operation Thursday. Financial terms were not disclosed.
