The Parsippany Commerce Center, on Route 10 in the township, announced it secured three new leases and extended two existing leases to secure 100 percent occupancy.
New additions to the three-story, 152,261-square-foot building include Simon & Schuster, Reach Local and Application Consulting Group. The three companies signed leases for nearly 25,000 square feet of space.
Lincoln Property Co., the leasing agent for the building, also extended agreements with current tenants McKesson Corp. and Macro Consulting Group.
The announcement comes on the heels of several other large commercial real estate moves. CB Richard Ellis Investments purchased two fully leased, 12-story buildings on the Hudson in Jersey City for a state record $375 per square foot. Closer to Parsippany, a Florham Park upscale office park secured a 12,000-square-foot lease with Ameriprise Financial Inc., increasing its occupancy to 96 percent.
The most high-profile deal in northern New Jersey was announced on April 20, when Panasonic finalized its deal to move to Newark and pledged to construct a new high-rise building on the waterfront.
