Supermarket owner to break ground on new Paterson project

Antonio Perez, owner of Super Super Market, will break ground on Riverside Village, a multiphase project in downtown Paterson, on Wednesday. The first phase of the development will include a Super Super Market, an Advanced Auto Parts franchise, a clock tower and a new road adjacent to the Passaic River.

The $7 million first phase is expected to be complete in about 10 months, according to Hasbrouck Heights-based DMR Architects, which designed the project.

DMR, Hackensack-based Impact Realty Associates, Elmwood Park’s Langan Engineering and Environmental Services and Norwood-based CatCord Construction Co. Inc., all were involved in the project.
