Amper, Politziner & Mattia and the state Small Business Development Center at The College of New Jersey, in Ewing, will offer free business advice to small enterprises, according to an announcement by TCNJ.

“This is an expansion of the relationship we currently have with other small business development centers in New Jersey,” said Daniel Gibson, a tax partner in the CPA firm’s Bridgewater office. “Besides offering [five hours of] free consultation services to small businesses that meet certain requirements, Amper will conduct a series of monthly seminars at TCNJ.”

The first seminar, scheduled for Oct. 8, will focus on accounting reporting requirements for businesses that contract with the federal government, he said.

Businesses can apply for the free consulting, which is valued at $1,500, by calling the SBDC or logging onto the agency’s Web site.
