Join ArtWell for an evening of celebration and community as they recognize visionary leaders who transform our world and inspire us all through arts, education, and social action. The evening will include dynamic youth and artist performances, a cocktail reception, delicious hors d’oeuvres from 12th Street Catering, and a ceremony celebrating 2018 honorees Councilmember Helen Gym, international artist Joe Brenman, and youth poet and activist Kadidja Cisse. Previous ArtWell Award recipients include esteemed poet Sonia Sanchez and iconic filmmaker Spike Lee.
The 2018 ArtWell Awards will take place on Thursday, April 19, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the National Museum of American Jewish History, across from Independence Mall and within view of the Liberty Bell.
