Description

Solis Partners is partnering with Energy Tax Savers on a webinar entitled “Capturing Energy Savings and Tax Benefits: Driving OPEX Reductions for Commercial Property Owners and Tenants.”

Many states require utilities to include a “societal benefits charge” (SBC) to support renewable and energy efficiency programs. Unfortunately, SBC funds are routinely reallocated because building owners and tenants do not take advantage of them. This webinar will provide information on best practices for implementing energy initiatives that maximize savings and qualify for the appropriate federal, state and utility incentives.

The webinar will feature speakers Jamie Hahn, co-founder and managing director at Solis, and Charles Goulding, president and founder of Energy Tax Savers Inc, who will present on the following topics:

• Aligning lighting, roof remediation and solar projects to maximize energy savings
• Structuring no-cost solar Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and energy tax planning strategies
• Qualifying for the $1.80 per square foot tax deduction based on energy efficiency upgrades completed since 2006
