Description A new monthly networking series, “Women, Business and Networking,” founded by Sue Waldman, LPC, which will feature guest presenters who will speak on various business topics, and offer valuable tips on becoming a successful entrepreneur. The event is open to all area residents and business people.

The program is designed for women who are already in business and need some inspiration or new ideas, women who wish to open their own business, or women who want to learn how to start and operate a non-profit organization.
The guest speakers at the inaugural program on May 19 will be marketing strategist Rosanna Masuallo Imbriano of RI Consulting LLC in Cedar Grove, who will share insights on how to develop strategic alliances to grow a business or organization; and freelance promotional copywriter Caryn Starr-Gates of StarrGates Business Communications in Fair Lawn, whose topic is about positioning a business in the best light through communication. After the short presentations there will be a question and answer period to provide attendees with advice and suggestions on marketing, advertising, and networking.

The panelists each wrote chapters about their areas of expertise in “New Jersey Women Mean Business! Big Bold Business Advice from New Jersey Women Business Owners: Practical Pointers, Solutions and Strategies for Business Success” [Woodpecker Press 2012]. Waldman is also a contributor. Books will be available for purchase at the event for signing or can be purchased online in advance at www.WoodpeckerPress.com.
