Description However it manifests, workplace violence is a growing concern for employers and employees nationwide.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) defines workplace violance as any physical assault, threatening behavior or verbal abuse occurring in the work setting. It can occur at or outside the workplace and is one of the leading causes of job related deaths. Regardless if it is a violent act, such as, an assault, suicide, shooting, or something as simple as an obscene phone call or cyber-bullying – workplace violence is a growing concern for employers and employees.

Join us at NJMEP for a session that will help you create a Pre-Action Plan for addressing the growing threat of workplace violence.

Seating is limited — early registration will ensure your participation!
A continental breakfast will be provided.

Sponsored By The NJMEP Inc.
