Description

The seminar will be held in conjunction with the Veterans' Administration Health Care Community Outreach Team. All Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend. Veterans seeking information on how to enroll in the VA health care system should bring a copy of their DD214 separation papers to the seminar. A 45-minute presentation regarding health care eligibility and benefits will be followed by a Q&A session with VA staff. Information about non-health related benefits including home loans, life insurance, filing disability claim and death and burial benefits will be covered. The VA mobile health unit will be on sire for brief health care assessments and patient education.
