Description
Dr. Glied holds economics degrees from Yale (BA), University of Toronto (MA), and Harvard (Ph.D.) and has written a book titled "Chronic Condition", which details the subject of Health Care Reform. Dr. Glied has been elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Social Insurance and the Board of Academy Health. In addition, she has served on the President's Council of Economic Advisers under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Currently, Glied is a Professor at Columbia University's Joseph L. Mailman School of Public Health.
