CCC HOSTING FIRST GREEN EMPOWERMENT CONFERENCE ON OCT. 16
Local companies will be empowered with the “green” tools they need to succeed during Camden County’s first Green Empowerment Conference on Oct. 16. The free event, which will run from 8 to 11 a.m. on Camden County College’s Blackwood Campus, will feature a keynote address by U.S. Rep. Robert E. Andrews, D-N.J.
Representatives from Delaware Valley environmental companies are invited to attend this conference to learn how to operate “leaner and greener.” Attendees will hear about the state and local programs that are available to help their businesses grow while saving time, energy and money.
In addition, panelists will be on hand to discuss:
• “green-geared” workforce recruitment and training.
• energy efficiency grants.
• other relevant topics.
The event is the result of a partnership between Camden County College and the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Camden County One Stop, the Camden County Workforce Investment Board and the New Jersey Department of Labor.
The Green Empowerment Conference will take place in Civic Hall of the College’s Connector Building, which is located off Peter Cheeseman Road in Gloucester Township. A light continental breakfast will be served.
