The American Cancer Society will host one of New Jersey’s most exceptional social events, Cancer Ball, at the waterfront estate of George and Lori Hall on North Ward Avenue in Rumson, New Jersey. The gala, which takes place on Saturday, June 9, 2012, will honor 45 Successful Years of Cancer Ball.
The 2012 Cancer Ball will take attendees away to the mysterious “Lost City of Atlantis”. Beginning at 6:00 p.m., 600 guests will be treated to an extraordinary production under an elaborate, decorated tent on the shore of the Shrewsbury River. The evening will feature both live and silent auctions during cocktails, followed by gourmet dining, a raffle drawing, and dancing to the sounds of live entertainment by The Zoo.
This year, the Cancer Ball will be honoring its history which has made it an iconic event both in the local area and for the American Cancer Society nationally. Along with our generous patrons, there exists a long list of dedicated Committee members whose contributions have made the Cancer Ball the grand and successful affair it is today. For 45 years, in different forms and at varied venues, the Cancer Ball has been held with one purpose: to raise funds to assist in eradicating cancer and to support those battling the disease until that goal can become a reality. This June 9th, the Ball hopes to honor that legacy and all who have contributed thereto.
