Dan Reynolds had seen enough of
the staffing industry to know
how it worked—or, as he saw it, didn’t
work—for clients.
>>>So, in 2001, he set out to design
and create what he believed would
be a great staffing firm focused on
long-term relationships with clients
and with the consultants it places.
The result was The Brokers Group.
>>>The economy then wasn’t exactly
cooperative, particularly for a firm that
focused on the IT market. But,
Reynolds and his company stuck it out.
>>>The key to its success has been
its attention to client needs and its
willingness to adapt.
>>>“While we started out as strictly
an IT staffing firm placing a certain
type of executive, we have adjusted
our business strategy to meet our
clients’ needs while remaining true to
our original goal of building the next
great staffing firm,” says Reynolds.

In 2003, The Brokers Group ventured
into a new market with the creation
of Clinical Brokers, a division
dedicated to placing people in pharmaceutical
and clinical trial companies.
The industry was evolving and
such companies needed more flexible
staffing options.
>>>The IT market is also evolving
as companies look on staffing services
as something of a commodity.
The Brokers Group, which prides
itself on finding good fits between
clients and consultants, responded
by focusing on positions integral to
its clients’ IT development.
